Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned E-commerce Operations Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our client’s business. You will be the owner of the entire customer journey from checkout to delivery, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for their US customer base. Your expertise in inventory management, fulfillment logistics, and process optimization will be critical to scaling the brand efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Operations Leadership: Own the entire post-purchase experience, including order management, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
  • Inventory Management & Forecasting: Develop and execute inventory strategies to maintain optimal stock levels across the US, preventing stockouts and minimizing markdowns. Analyze sales data to forecast demand for new collections and recurring lines.
  • 3PL & Supply Chain Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Third-Party Logistics (3PL) partners in the USA. Monitor and optimize fulfillment KPIs (order accuracy, shipping times, cost per unit) to ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Systems & Technology: Oversee and optimize the tech stack, including the Shopify store, inventory management software, and 3PL integration platforms. Ensure data flows accurately between systems.
  • Customer Experience & Returns: Develop and manage a smooth, cost-effective returns and exchange process that maintains customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely production and delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, with a proven track record in a DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) brand targeting the US market.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with inventory management, demand forecasting, and working with US-based 3PLs.
  • High proficiency with Shopify and inventory management systems (e.g., Skubana, Cin7, TradeGecko).
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in using data (Google Sheets/Excel) to drive operational decisions.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills for coordinating with a fully remote, global team.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience in the apparel, footwear, or children’s products industry.
  • Experience managing the complexities of seasonal inventory and product life cycles.
  • Background in a high-growth startup environment.
