Job Description
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Social Media Manager to own their voice and presence across key channels. This role is crucial for building brand awareness, driving user acquisition, and engaging their community of marketers and tech enthusiasts. You will be the bridge between the product and the audience, using social media to educate, engage, and convert.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, and other relevant platforms to support marketing and business goals.
- Content Creation: Create, curate, and schedule a high volume of engaging content (copy, graphics, short-form video) that showcases the product’s value, features, and use cases.
- Community Building: Act as the voice of the brand, fostering a vibrant online community. Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using native analytics and tools like the client’s own platform. Use insights to continuously test and optimize content, posting times, and strategy for maximum reach and engagement.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns for product launches, webinars, and content promotions, working closely with the marketing and product teams.
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of the curve on social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor strategies within the SaaS and tech landscape.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on social media management experience, preferably in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- A proven portfolio of successful social media campaigns and growth metrics.
- Expertise with major social media platforms (especially LinkedIn and Twitter/X) and their respective best practices for a B2B audience.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar).
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex tech features into compelling, user-friendly content.
- Basic skills in graphic design (Canva, Adobe Express) and video editing (CapCut, Premiere Rush) for quick asset creation.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
- Experience building a community from the ground up.
- Experience with paid social advertising on LinkedIn and/or Meta.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and how they relate to social media.
- A personal interest and presence in the tech/SaaS/marketing space.
